What can I take into the care conversation?
Pick the questions you need. Leave room to write the answers in words you understand.

How do I bring the talk back to my concern?
Begin with what brought you to the visit. If the conversation moves straight to a product, ask how the assessment connects that product to your concern.
- What are we trying to understand or treat?
- What did the assessment show?
- What other choices can we discuss?
- What happens if I choose to wait?
How do I ask about the medicine?
Use the full name instead of saying that peptide. Ask for an explanation of any word you cannot define. Write the answer down before moving on.
- What is the full medicine name, and is it a shot, a tablet, or another kind?
- Why is it being considered for my situation?
- Who makes it and who sends it?
- Where can I read the information for that medicine?
What can I ask about problems and follow-up?
Ask which side effects are relevant to the specific medicine and how to contact the clinician with a question.
- What changes would mean the plan needs another look?
- Who answers between visits?
- How are my other medicines and health history considered?
- Can I have the plan in writing?
What do I need in writing before paying?
Ask for the total, a list of each charge, and the rules for payments that repeat. Take time to check which amount pays for the medicine and which pays for the service.
You can close with: please explain the parts I have not understood yet. A finished conversation leaves you with answers you can repeat in your own words.
